CONDOMINIUMS AWARDED CONTRACT FOR
“WIND” CONDOMINIUMS
MIAMI (February 2006) – Thomas P. Murphy, Jr., Chairman and
CEO of Miami-based Coastal Construction Group, announced today that
the company has been awarded the contract for the construction of
Wind condominiums in Miami.
Developer Miami-based Neo Epoch 1 Ltd. selected Coastal’s
condominium division to build its $95 million, 42-story, 489-unit
condominium building located on the Miami River. Situated at the
intersection of Miami Avenue and the North Bank of the Miami River
at 40 S.W. 3rd Street, Wind is the first tower of a six-tower,
13.5-acre project called River Front, which will boast a boulevard
of café’s, restaurants, retail, residences, and office
condos.
“Everyone at Coastal is very excited to be part of this progressive
and extraordinary project from such a visionary developer,”
says Murphy. “We look forward to delivering an exceptionally
well-crafted building which will add to Miami’s bustling skyline.”
Residents of Wind will enjoy views of downtown Miami and
the bay as well as a 900-foot Biscayne pedestrian river walk. Other
amenities include luxuriously appointed kitchens and baths, a state-of-the-art
wellness center, sports lounge, cigar parlor, 24-hour valet, security
and concierge services. A 40,000-square-foot tropical oasis featuring
a river front pool and a Mediterranean-inspired garden and bar overlooking
the Miami skyline will enhance the residential experience. Wind
is being designed by Revuelta, Vega, Leon P.A. and is scheduled
for completion in November 2007.
