SUZANNE MURPHY APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES FOR COASTAL HOMES AND COASTAL INTERIORS

MIAMI (April 2006) – Thomas P. Murphy Jr., Chairman and CEO of Miami-based Coastal Construction Group, today announced that Suzanne Murphy has been appointed Vice President of Sales for Coastal Homes, a division of Coastal that focuses on building one-of-a-kind ultra high-end homes, and Vice President of Sales for Coastal Interiors, a division of Coastal that specializes in building interiors of homes, condominiums, offices and commercial properties.

In her new role, Murphy, who first joined Coastal in April 2000 as project manager for the company’s Grand Bay and Fisher Island development, will work closely with prospective clients to introduce Coastal’s services, arrange pre-construction agreements and develop contracts for construction services. She will also work along side Mark Swanson, Vice President of Coastal Homes, to provide pre-construction services, which include managing all aspects of client, architect and engineering relationships. Other responsibilities include, developing construction teams for projects and reaching potential clients through referrals and marketing.

Murphy began her construction career with Pulte Home Corporation where she served as superintendent for three years managing all aspects of construction for the company’s residential communities. She was later promoted to project manager and was responsible for the company’s multiple residential construction projects. With a bachelor’s degree in building construction from the University of Florida, Murphy’s extensive project experience includes several prominent developments throughout Florida including, Coconuts at Bonventure in Weston, Kokomo Key Townhomes in Coral Springs and Oakbridge Townhomes in Delray Beach.
